Latitude 45 Arts in the spotlight at Ottawa Chamberfest this summer!


Ottawa Chamberfest 2021 will feature multiple Latitude 45 Artists including Infusion Baroque, collectif9, Mark Fewer, and Cris Derksen!


This summer, the festival will feature a hybrid format of live-streaming and in-person performances and a "Canadian-artist-only" programmation.

Centred around the music of Argentinian composer Osvaldo Golijov, The Night of the Flying Horses explores moments of wonder and melancholy, with frenetic, electrifying waves of sound in a program of works spanning over five centuries.




Mark Fewer Sunday July 25 19:00


Brilliant Canadian violinist Mark Fewer and friends present Piazzolla’s Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, in celebration of the composer’s 100th birthday.





Chamber Chats with Infusion Baroque Wednesday July 28 10:00


Join host Eric Friesen and the four women of Infusion Baroque in a conversation centred around their many creative projects in this exclusive Chamber Chat: Festival Edition.

Glorious and Free – Romani Inspired Songs and Operetta Arias, this program features music by Brahms, Dvorak, Liszt, Iradier, Valverde, and Gilbert.




Infusion Baroque Friday July 30 20:30


Murder, mystery and intrigue are on the menu as Infusion Baroque investigates the murder of composer Jean-Marie Leclair (1697-1764). The programme Who Killed Leclair? features several of Leclair’s trio sonatas, and works by his colleagues and rivals.



Cris Derksen Monday August 2


The horn player Louis-Pierre Bergeron, accompanied by a string quartet and a hoop dancer, will perform a new work from Cris Derksen for an outdoor performance in front of the Steinway Piano Gallery in Ottawa. The piece will also be available online on the chamberfest website starting on Friday, August 6th.
