Fanfare Magazine wrote a review of Kreüsser, Infusion Baroque new release!

Excerpts:

“On this release they are assisted by violist Jacques-André; Houle and second cellist Amanda Keesmaat. Infusion's previous recording of trio sonatas by C. P. E. Bach didn't get a very favorable review in Fanfare 41:1, but to my mind the playing of these musicians on the Kreüsser disc is superb.”

“They play with a liveliness and unforced energy that seems to grow naturally out of the music rather than being imposed on it, combining spontaneity and abandon with technical perfection. Flutist Raine-Wright is especially impressive, with her mellow, beautiful sound, perfect intonation, vivacity, and nimble articulation.”

“The timbres of the string players have a pleasing and colorful pungency but avoid the overly abrasive quality of some period-instrument performers. Vivid, colorful, realistic sound, with accurate definition of the instrumental timbres, adds to the pleasure offered by this recording.”
