The Diotima Quartet is back on stage after a few weeks of rest!
This beginning of the season perfectly illustrates the dual identity of the quartet. Schubert and Beethoven rub shoulders with the new works such as Rebecca Saunders' Unbreathed Quartet or the creations of Arturo Fuentes and Jean-Luc Hervé's new pieces.
The first concert will take place in the French Centre-Val de Loire Region, place of artistic residence of the Diotima Quartet for nearly 10 years. But this beginning of the season is also an opportunity to announce a second residency for the quartet who will be welcomed as Artist-in-Residence for the next three seasons at the Maison de la Radio in Paris, where the quartet will have the great pleasure of presenting an annual season of recitals as well as many other projects with the different musical partners of Radio France.

Le quatuor Diotima amorce sa saison 2018-2019
C'est la rentrée pour le Quatuor Diotima, de retour sur scène après quelques semaines de repos!
Ce début de saison illustre parfaitement la double identité de la formation. Schubert et Beethoven y côtoient les oeuvres nouvelles portées par les Diotima comme le Quatuor Unbreathed de Rebecca Saunders ou la création des nouvelles pièces d'Arturo Fuentes et de Jean-Luc Hervé.
Le premier concert aura lieu en Région Centre-Val de Loire, lieu de résidence artistique du Quatuor Diotima depuis près de 10 ans. Mais ce début de saison est aussi l'occasion d'annoncer une deuxième résidence pour le quatuor qui sera accueilli comme Artiste en Résidence pour les trois saisons prochaines à la Maison de la Radio à Paris où il aura le grand plaisir de présenter chaque année une saison de récitals ainsi que de nombreux autres projets avec les formations musicales de Radio France.
