The world-renowned jazz pianist Jean-Michel Pilc is one of Montreal's most exciting improvisers as well as being a unique educator. He has recently released his fourth album, ''Parallel'', featuring improvised music for solo piano. He is also director of the Improvisation Workshop Project.

The Naghash Ensemble combines the earthy spirituality of Armenian folk song, new classical music, contemporary post-minimalism and the energy of rock and jazz. It is a modern twist on the ancient Armenian musical tradition. Part folk music, part classical and profoundly moving.

The unique duo Stick&Bow mixes musical narration with electronics, humour, and story-telling, using the powerful combination of cello (Juan Sebastian Delgado) and marimba (Krystina Marcoux) to bring a fresh and unexpected twist to beloved classical works as well as new commissions.
